Vigthor Zophoniasson (Guido Contini) Spinning Tree: A Little Night Music, Master Class, The Fantasticks. Vigthor is a cross-over artist performing in opera, musical theatre and puppetry. Locally, he has appeared in shows for Quality Hill Playhouse, Theatre for Young America, Musical Theater Heritage, Chestnut Fine Arts, Springfield Regional Opera, Great Plains Theatre and Lyric Opera of Kansas City. Recently, Vigthor appeared as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables with Hope Summer Repertory Theatre. Last year, he made his professional directorial debut with The Legend of Sleepy Hollow at Theatre for Young America. Judy Simmons (Guido’s Mother) Spinning Tree: Debut. Judy was recently seen in Tomas and The Library Lady at The Coterie and P. S. I Love You Sondheim at Quality Hill. She is thrilled to be part of this amazing cast and so happy to be working with Michael, Andrew, and Gary. In Kansas City Judy has appeared in Sunday in the Park with George, (Old Lady, KC Rep), Church Basement Ladies (Vivian, The Chestnut), The Sound of Music (Sister Margaretta, Starlight Theatre), The Music Man (Mrs. Paroo, Western Playhouse), Hello Dolly (Mrs. Rose, Musical Theater Heritage). Upcoming projects: Church Basement Ladies 2 (2017 – The Chestnut).

Angela Hagenbach (Liliane La Fleur) Spinning Tree: Debut. Angela placed first runner-up in the Sarah Vaughan International Vocal Competition while authoring the celebrated 2015 jazz production JazzAlice: An Adventure in Wonderland based on the Lewis Carroll classic. Owner of Amazon Records®, Angela has produced and released multiple recordings to critical national acclaim including recording and touring with Clark Terry, Jimmy Heath, Frank Foster and more. Two of her compositions are featured in ‘Last Will’, a feature length film starring Tatum O’Neal, James Brolin and Peter Coyote. Hagenbach completed two World Tours as Cultural Jazz Ambassador for the United States and she is listed as one of the great jazz singers in The Great Jazz Singers – The Ultimate Guide by jazz historian Scott Yanow.

Taylor Harvey (Claudia Nardi) Spinning Tree: Debut. Regional: As You Like It and Coriolanus (Great River Shakespeare Festival); Two Gentlemen of Verona (Jungle Theater); Sherlock Holmes and the Ice Palace Murders (Park Square Theatre); Hot Mikado, The Sound of Music and The Doll People (Hope Summer Repertory Theatre). Leah Swank-Miller (Carla) Spinning Tree: Debut. Most recently Leah was seen in The Nine Who Dared at The Coterie; Parade at Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre; Into the Woods with She&Her Productions and Out of Order at The New Theatre. Other KC favorites include: Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (Musical Theater Heritage) and Eulalie Shinn in The Music Man (Western Playhouse). This January you can see Leah in Hana’s Suitcase at The Coterie. Endless thanks to Andrew and Michael for this wonderful opportunity, her extremely supportive husband Brian, kids Jonah and Brilee, JC and this talented cast.

Devon Barnes (Stephanie Necrophorus) Spinning Tree: A Little Night Music. Devon is thrilled to be back with Spinning Tree and honored to be working with this incredibly talented cast and crew. Past projects include Picasso at the Lapin Agile, The Witch in Into The Woods and Red Death. She has also been the featured soloist with numerous St. Louis symphonies and big bands, and at Opera Theater of St. Louis. Next you can see her in The Twelve Plays of Christmas at The Fishtank. So much gratitude goes to her loving and supportive boyfriend and perfect Pekingese who make every day brighter.

Ashley Personett (Lina Darling) Spinning Tree: Debut. Ashley has worked professionally for over ten years in Kansas City, seen on stage, print and screen. A regular with Late Night Theatre, some of her other credits include The Coterie, Egads!, Musical Theater Heritage, Starlight and commercial work with New Theatre. Ryan Tucker (Sarraghina) Spinning Tree: Debut. Ryan is beyond thrilled to be making her Kansas City stage debut with such a beautiful show. A Stephens College Alumna, Ryan’s past roles include the Chaperone in The Drowsy Chaperone and Vern in Bingo! A Winning Musical at Okoboji Summer Theatre. Many thanks to the cast and crew – especially Michael, Andy, and Gary. Callie Fabac (Ensemble) Spinning Tree: 13 and Fiddler on the Roof. Callie is beyond excited to be a part of her third Spinning Tree production with the talented cast of Nine. Last summer, she performed with The Coterie in A Bird of Prey for Fringe Festival. She is also involved with theatre productions at her school, Olathe Northwest (Wizard of Oz, Legally Blonde). She has performed with MTKC (Starmites, Children of Eden, Jesus Christ Superstar) and Trilogy Cultural Arts (Tarzan, Peter Pan). She would like to thank her family, friends, and mentors, especially Michael, Andy, Lauren, and Nancy.

Devyn Trondson (Ensemble) Spinning Tree: 13 and Violet. Credits include: A Christmas Carol as Simon (KC Rep); Joseph… Dreamcoat (New Theatre); Annie Warbucks as Annie, Joseph…Dreamcoat as a narrator (Theatre in the Park); School of Rock, 42nd Street (MTKC). Devyn is a sophomore at Shawnee Mission Northwest. She studies acting with Michael Grayman, voice with Lauren Braton and Jay Coombes, and dance with Andy Parkhurst and at Nallia School of Dance. Much love to her family, friends, wonderful teachers, directors and all who continue to encourage and help her grow.

Christian Harris (Young Guido) Spinning Tree: Debut. Christian is thrilled to be making his professional debut with Spinning Tree Theatre! He has just begun to explore his love for acting in theatre and film. Credits include James in Willy Wonka for Music Theatre Kansas City. Marshall Jones (Young Guido) Spinning Tree: Debut. Marshall has performed for seven years, recently with Act One as Michael Darling in Peter Pan, and Charlie Bucket in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. He also performed with Dance Limited (Abilene, TX) as The Coroner in The Wizard of Oz and Fritz in The Nutcracker. He lives in the Northland, and enjoys playing video games and traveling with his family.
