· High school freshman-senior

Mentorships that Matter
Each of our Spinning Tree Offstage participants will be assigned to a designer/director and production based on their availability and suitability to the show's requirements.
Participants and a parent/guardian will meet with a Spinning Tree producer and the assigned designer/director.

If you're interested in one of our open positions, start by applying here and attaching your resumé, if you have one.
Step 2. We'll reply when we have an opening, and will arrange to schedule an interview to collect more information, learn more about your interest and hopes from the program, and to discuss calendar and schedules.

Our programming is conveniently located at Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center - 8788 Metcalf Avenue in Overland Park, Kansas - where Spinning Tree is a Resident Theatre Company.

Spinning Tree OFFSTAGE is a new program beginning in 2024.
Spinning Tree young artists participating OFFSTAGE will learn by assisting a professional director, stage manager, or designer.
Opportunities include assisting in the following departments:

- Music Direction
- Lighting Design
- Costume Design
- Sound Design
- Projections Design
