Our 4th annual Young Playwrights Lab offers opportunities for youth of all abilities to practice playwriting in a nurturing, process-focused workshop. Young artists are mentored by top Kansas City professional playwrights.
Each year, at least one piece will be chosen for further development and given full production as part of Spinning Tree Theatre's Young Playwrights Festival in January/February 2025.
Young Playwrights Lab is tuition-free, made possible by gifts from generous individual donors.
